The Financial Services Department is committed to efficient and effective management of the financial operations and fiscal resources of the Habersham County School District.
Financial Services responsibilities include coordinating and directing the general fund, debt service, capital project, federal grant funded and school activity funded financial transactions recorded in the payroll and accounting systems of Habersham County School District.
Department staff must be service-oriented with respect to the fiscal and financial needs of our students, schools, employees, departments, government agencies, vendors, and the general public, while simultaneously assuring all transactions and financial activities adhere to system policies and procedures, industry best practices, generally accepted accounting principles, and rules established by authoritative governing bodies.

Financial Transparency in Education Act
O.C.G.A. §20-14-49.11 requires the Georgia Department of Education to collect, aggregate, and publish on its website a variety of financial information for each school district within the State of Georgia.
