School and Area Information
The Habersham County School System is located in the beautiful hills of Northeast Georgia. Nationally renowned as a favorite retirement area, the county is a two hour drive from the Smoky Mountains and less than two hours from Atlanta via I-85 and Highway 365. The school system has an enrollment of 7200 students. A continuum of educational services is available to all students through an instructional program which ranges from kindergarten through secondary level, as well as extensive opportunities for those with special needs.
