Classroom Teachers /SPED / ESOL have additional planning 4 times per year. The goal is that no professional learning, admin mtgs, etc. will interfere with this time.

The time must be spent working as a grade level team to collaboratively plan. Use this time to deconstruct standards, plan lessons, and align instruction with assessment. Use the instructional framework as your guide for planning.

The following items must be turned in to Dr. Yearwood after the planning session:
• Agenda
• Artifacts
• Sign-in sheet

Mrs. Baker, Ms. Jordan, and Ms. St. Andre will provide instruction during TIP time. Teachers are responsible for dividing students into 3 groups. Lists must be given to the office. During TIP time, students will rotate through all 3 support teacher’s lessons. Support staff must work with classroom teacher to decide on a location for support staff.

Support teachers should get a radio from the office.

Support staff may include SRO, public speakers, school nurse, or others into TIP time.
