Extra Mile/Service Above Self Awards

The Habersham County School System is proud to recognize our hard working and dedicated employees.

The Extra Mile Award and Service Above Self awards help to recognize those employees who have gone "above and beyond" their regular job responsibilities by either "going the Extra Mile" or "putting Service Above Self" in a specific situation in their building or department.

A big "Thank You" to PEACH STATE CREDIT UNION, for sponsoring these awards!!

A winner for each award is recognized each month at our scheduled monthly board meeting.

Criteria for these recognitions include: (1) Motivation to perform duties which is above that which is expected. (2) Performing additional tasks which are not anticipated for the job to make the educational process better and more efficient for students staff.

Please use the Extra Mile form to nominate a Certified employee and the Service Above Self form to nominate a Classified employee. These forms are located to your right in the "Related Documents" section.
