New Student Registration


New Students for the 2019-2020 School Year


Step 1: Complete the Online Registration Form 



Online registration can be completed from home or at the Central Registration Office (re-opens July 22)



Step 2: Bring the following documentation to Central Registration (re-opens Monday, July 22)

Please note: We request academic transcripts from previous schools and these do not include the required enrolling documents listed below. These must be provided from the enrolling parent/guardian.


Certified copy of birth certificate


Student Social Security Card or Signed Waiver


Proof of residency* (Current utility bill- power/water/natural gas/cable- showing name and address of enrolling parent or guardian)


Completed Georgia Immunization Form** [Form 3231] 


Completed Georgia Certificate of Eye, Ear, Dental, Nutrition Examinations Form** [Form 3300]


Photo ID of parent/guardian enrolling student 


*If you do not have proof of current residency in your name, you must complete the affidavit of residency form with notarized signatures AND attach the current proof of 911 in the owner/leasor name listed on the statement of legal residence form.

**Completed by the Habersham County Health Department or primary healthcare provider. 


Central Registration Summer Hours

[Closed daily 12:00-12:30]


July 22- August 2- 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. 

August 5-6- 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. 

August 7- First Day of School

Please note: Registrations take 24-48 hours to process.

Students who have been withdrawn from Habersham County Schools or who leave the United States must also register as a new student.
