An employee must complete and submit a Transfer Request Form to Personnel. Prior to submitting a transfer request form, each employee should notify their present administrator/supervisor of their intentions. Request will be compiled and shared with hiring administrators/supervisors. Hiring administrators/supervisors will review all transfer requests. If an employee is selected for a vacancy involving a change of administrator/supervisor, the prospective administrator/supervisor will contact the current administrator/supervisor to obtain approval, and will then forward the recommendation to Personnel. An administrator/supervisor may find it necessary to request denial of a transfer because of expected disruption in the school or department’s continuity. If approved by both parties, the transfer will be recommended to the Superintendent and then to the Board of Education for final disposition.
