New HCBOE Gmail account names and passwords will be emailed to staff members initially via present First Class Client accounts.  Hcboe staff new addresses will be in the format, iteacher@habershamschools.com (May 18, 2012).  Staff will still receive email with their older email addresses (such as, iteacher@habersham.k12.ga.us).

May 18, 2012 11:59 p.m. the FirstClass email system of Habersham Schools will be replaced with a more cost effective and highly capable solution provided by Google.  The new system will provide more than 100 times the current available mailbox space for each employee including message archiving and will also provide support for most mobile devices.  More than just GMail, Google Apps for Education offers a variety of services including Google Docs, Calendars, and a variety of ways for employees to collaborate and share information.
