Consolidated Application FY19

Habersham County Schools (Local Education Agency) annually invites all stakeholders to participate in developing a Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan (CLIP).

The CLIP integrates requirements for planning across all Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) programs. The CLIP has five major components: 1) District Comprehensive Needs Assessment, 2) District Improvement Plan, 3) District Parent and Family Engagement Plan, 4) Migrant Identification and Recruitment Plan, and 5) Foster Care Transportation Plan.

The CLIP must be approved annually by the state in order for our schools to receive funding from these state and federal programs. If you need additional information, please contact Dr. Renee York, Director of Federal Programs and Testing at 706-778-2020, ext. 105.

The next Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan meeting will be held March 5at 6 PM at the Habersham County Board of Education offices in Clarkesville, GA. Everyone is invited to attend.

All stakeholders are also invited to update the Parent and Family Engagement Policy. This policy establishes the district's expectations for quality family engagement and guides the strategies and resources that will build school-parent partnerships. It describes the district's commitment to partner with families in the education of their children and to strengthen the ability of schools to implement activities that support children in achieving academic success. The meeting will take place at the Habersham County Board of Education offices in Clarkesville on April 11 at 6 PM.
