NHSGA students received a special treat recently in their language arts classes.  Author Denise Weimer spoke to the students about her writing experiences.  She also read excerpts from 2 of her novels, Drummer Danny and Sautee Shadows. Mrs. Weimer writes historical fiction and talked with the students about the amount of research and accuracy it takes to produce that genre. Mrs. Weimer’s daughter Emily attends NHSGA.  Students and teachers enjoyed speaking with the author and learning about what it takes to become a professional writer.
